Is it okay for the Lorikeet ceiling fan in the room?

Hejaz, I just got a pet Lorikeet, which is also my first bird and I was wondering if you can leave my ceiling fan in my room at night with him in it. I have my camera one will be in his cage for him flying in it is not a concern (which is not qualified to fly anyway). I also I have my window closed. I need it because without it you become very hot and also reduces my tinnitus to a minimum while I sleep. So yes its a good idea or should I leave it in place a blanket or towel around his cage when you turn night? Or should I leave it in another room? Please advice!

It is not advise to have a constant running fan in a room there are birds. If a bird to leave, could fly into the fan with disastrous results for him. You say that your bird is not trained to fly? then you do not know about birds, their natural instinct is to fly and require no training to do this will be fine if you cover the cage at night with a cover. But remember not to let it out with the fan running.
